Sports Cards

(2) Barry Bonds Sport Cards 1991/1992, Topps and Fleer. The 1st is a special card with a young Ken Griffey Jr, and Barry Bonds as 2nd Generatiion Stars. The Fleer 1991 card is in excellent condition. It has a nice comparison between the now future Hall of Famers with the former careers of their famous fathers. The 2nd card is Barry Bonds- All Star Outfielder- 1992 Topps. It is in very good condition with a couple of minor edge nicks that come with the opening of card packs. Overall, these are 2 nice cards of the all time Homerun King. Like him or not, and agree that the enhancing drugs may have given him an edge in the homer department, he still deserves his place among the greats in the game. All his cards are going to elevate in value when he is acquitted. Here's your chance to get a couple of cards cheap that may someday be worth a lot of money. Who knows? $6.00

Nolan Ryan Special 10 card set, by Triad I believe them to be the 1993 Nolan Ryan Triad Whataburger set (if interested, I will provide details of the cards). This 10 card (4 pks of 2 are still sealed), depicts some of the highpoints in the illustrious career of Hall of Fame great, Nolan Ryan. There are facts on the reverse of each picture, which can best be described as high impact glossy effects, over standard sport card pictures. The set is in excellent condition. $3.00

Seattle Supersonics 14 card set by Kayo This very hard to find set, was produced by Kayo Cards, LTD. in 1991, and has all the team stars for that year, including Shawn Kemp, Gary Payton, Derrick McKey, Michael Cage, Eddie Johnson, and 9 others. The set is in excellent condition. $3.00

Upper Deck 1992 MLB Team MVP Holographic Card Set This limited edition set, #208,887 of 216,000 was distributed by Upper Deck, in 1992. There are 54 players, as the top hitter, and pitcher from each of the 27 major league teams. The holograms are fantastic, as you can see from the scan of Barry Bonds, and come enclosed in a hard plastic storage case with the Certificate of Authenticity. The set is NM. $12.00

Larry Bird Telecards

Larry Bird calling cards - #1-3 1994/1995 Here's a great offering for Larry Bird fans. ACMI produced a 9 card set featuring the career of Celtic great, Larry Bird, with each issue designated by a letter in his name, i.e. the first was L, the second A, etc. The first issue has a nice picture of Bird in his white jersey, with a basketball (33) in the right, next to the $10 value. This was issued 5/1/94, #718 of 4000. I also have the same card in a $6 value, #4632 of 5000. Number 2 has Bird shooting a jumper against the Sonics. The $6 card is #278 of 5000, 9/1/94. Number 3 has Larry going 1 on 1, against a Hawk's player. This $6 card was issued 2/1/95, #699 of 5000. The cards are unused, and contain many facts on Bird, including personal data and NBA records, but since are so old, any dollar value in the calling cards themselves have long been expired. $15.00

USA Dream Team

Corn Flakes 1992 Kellogg's USA Dream Team commemorative cereal box, Kellogg's Corn Flakes empty box depicting John Stockton, Chris Mullins, David Robinson, Larry Bird, and Karl Malone. It is in good condition, and hasn't been folded. $3.00

Miscellaneous

Zydrunas Ilgauskas signature on Cavaliers hat Authenicated signature of Cleveland Cavs center, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, on white baseball cap with certificate of authenticity. A unique ballcap, with the albeit undistinguishable signature of current Cleveland Cavs center, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, is a nice addition to any Cav fans collection. Zydrunas is soon to become the franchise leader in rebounds, surpassing all the greats who have come before him. He has silently gained a place in the record books with this accomplishment. The hat has never been worn, and is in very good condition. $10.00

Scottie Pippen Plate *Gold Edition* Limited Edition - 1993. A real nice display of Scottie Pippen, with full face and action shots. Limited to 2500, this plate is numbered 1869. The artist is Robert Tannenbaum, and the plate measures 10 1/2" in diameter, and is edged in gold. It is in perfect condition, and was only removed from the original bubble wrap so I could take pictures of it. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. $20.00

McDonald's French Fry "Nothing But Net" NBA MVP series This "Most Valuable Player" series includes Michael Jordan, Larry Bird (2), Moses Malone, Charles Barkley, Dr. J, & Bill Walton. $3.00

1992 The Year In Sports - VHS Edition Sports Illustrated video, 1992, featuring the Olympics, and the greatest Basketball team ever assembled. The cover has a great picture of Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, Karl Malone, Magic Johnson, and the great Michael Jordan. This video manufactured by HBO Sports, is very informative, and is packed with a lot of great sport moments for the year 1992. The tape, and box are in excellent condition. $3.00

NBA Superstar 2 - VHS Basketball video/music - CBS Fox. This unique basketball video includes many action shots & plays of the NBA greats, all accompanied by music. The featured stars include, Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Clyde Drexler, Patrick Ewing, Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, Tim Hardaway, Chris Mullins, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, Dominique Wilkens, and Scottie Pippen. The tape, and the box are both in VG condition. $2.00

Ohio State University Items I have a nice 3-item set of Ohio State collectibles for sale. First, there is a 7Up 16oz bottle Commemorative Edition showing the Big Ten Championships (16) that OSU had from 1916-1976, with records of the Rose Bowl appearances. The second item is a deck of cards of the 1992 OSU football team, isssued by the athletic department as a promo set. Thirdly, there is an unopened, still in plastic, set of the 1991-1992 OSU basketball team trading cards, coached by Randy Ayers, including such players as Mark Baker, Jamaal Brown, and NBA standouts Lawrence Funderburke, Chris Jent, and Superstar Jim Jackson. All items are in VG-EX condition. $10.00

Columbus Framed Print, City of Arches by Mary Morrison 1994. This is a great print of an original art work by Mary Morrison. It was published by H.J. Nieman, Inc, and printed by Ohio Printing. Much of Columbus is highlighted thru a montage of arches, such as the Ohio Theatre, Southern Theatre, Santa Maria, Art Center, State Capitol, and the very recognizable Columbus skyline. The print measures 20" x 30" framed, and is excellent condition. $15.00 (+ $$ shipping surcharge)

Orcinus Orca Picture Original print by Don McMichael, titled "Harmony". This beautiful artist rendering of the majestic Orca (killer) whale, the largest of the dolphins, by renowned artist, Don McMichael, was purchased in Walt Disney World's The Living Seas, in 1984. Wildlife Montage Print FRAMED 27" x 39". A really cute picture of a large variety of wildlife, including butterflys, birds, frogs, a rabbit, cockatoo, zebra, hippo, toucan, oranutan, cheetah, fox, and mercat.
